The Forest Annex

Overview

A compact guest annex designed for calm, clarity, and connection to the woods outside. We reworked the interiors to increase function and reduce visual noise — integrating concealed storage throughout, enlarging the sliding glass doors, and letting the landscape take center stage. The office was kept neutral and serene, with soft whites and exposed wood. In contrast, the bedroom was fully enveloped in golden yellow — a warm pocket of color designed to feel like a sunbeam in the forest.
